2. Data collected
Simple Fasting App does not require an account and does not collect personal data, health data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data.
3. App data stored locally
Fasting sessions, selected fasting duration, display preferences, and related app settings are stored locally on your device. Fasting records are stored using SwiftData.
4. Widget and App Group use
If you use the Home Screen widget, the app uses App Group UserDefaults to share the current fasting state between the app and its widget. This shared storage remains on your device.
5. Notifications
The app can request permission to send local iOS notifications, such as a notification when a fasting period ends. Notification settings are controlled by you in iOS.
6. Live Activities
If enabled in iOS, the app can use Apple ActivityKit to show the current fasting state in a Live Activity. This feature works through Apple system services and does not send your fasting information to developer servers.
7. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The app does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking technology. Its privacy manifest declares no collected data types and declares tracking as false.
8. Third-party services
The app does not use third-party services to process or transfer user data. It does not make network calls for app functionality.
9. Data sharing or sale
The developer does not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose user data to third parties because the app does not collect or upload that data.
10. Retention and deletion
App data remains on your device until you remove it through the app or delete the app. Removing the app may remove locally stored app data, subject to your device and backup settings. The app does not keep a developer-side copy.
11. Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no account or developer-side data collection is used, the app has no child profile or account database.
12. Health and medical boundary
