Scrum Assessments App Terms
Clear terms for study, access, and subscriptions.
These product terms describe Scrum Assessments App and its subscription behavior. Apple’s Standard EULA remains the primary licence agreement for the app.
Effective and last updated: 13 August 2026
1. Educational and independent product
Scrum Assessments App is an independent educational study and self-assessment tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Scrum.org. It does not provide official assessment questions and does not guarantee certification or exam success. Scrum Guide 2020 material is attributed in context. App content is currently in English.
2. Licence framework
Your licence to use the app is governed primarily by the Apple Standard EULA. These additional terms explain product access, subscriptions, local data, content use, and support; they do not replace rights that cannot legally be waived.
3. Plans, billing, and automatic renewal
Premium is designed with monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual auto-renewable subscription options. The App Store purchase sheet shows the price and billing details for your storefront before purchase; no price on this page overrides that display. Apple bills your Apple Account. Unless cancelled through Apple before renewal, an auto-renewable subscription renews for its plan duration under the terms shown by Apple.
4. Managing access and restoring purchases
You can view, change, or cancel a subscription through Apple’s subscription and billing controls. Restore Purchases can ask Apple to restore an eligible entitlement for the same Apple Account. Restoration depends on Apple’s records, service availability, and the product remaining available in the relevant App Store.
5. Free and Premium access
Features marked Premium require an active entitlement. When Premium ends, completed attempts and study history remain accessible on the device, while starting or using new Premium capabilities is locked. The app’s current interface is the source of truth for which capabilities require Premium.
6. Education offer codes
An individual annual education offer code may provide eligible users with a limited Premium access period when successfully redeemed through Apple. The current app text describes this education access as not renewing automatically. Code validity, eligibility, regional availability, and redemption are subject to Apple’s systems; receiving or entering a code does not guarantee activation.
7. Local data and device changes
Study data is stored locally and does not sync between devices. Settings → Reset all local study data deletes local attempts and study history. Deleting or reinstalling the app can also remove app-local data. Restore Purchases may restore an Apple entitlement; it does not restore local study history.
8. Acceptable use and content
Use the app lawfully for personal study and assessment. Do not interfere with the app or attempt to extract, scrape, copy, publish, sell, or redistribute its questions or other protected content except where applicable law permits or written permission has been granted.
9. Third-party material and marks
Scrum, Scrum.org, the Scrum Guide, Apple, and other third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. References identify source context or platform services and do not imply sponsorship, certification, affiliation, or endorsement.
10. Availability and changes
Features, content, Premium boundaries, and App Store availability may change as the product is maintained. Material changes will be reflected in the app, its App Store disclosures, or these pages as appropriate. No uninterrupted availability is promised.
11. Warranty and liability boundary
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and without limiting non-waivable consumer rights, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” No promise is made that every feature or item of content will always be error-free. The warranty and liability provisions in the Apple Standard EULA apply; any additional limitation applies only where permitted by law.
12. Privacy and support
Read the Scrum Assessments App Privacy Policy for app data practices. For product help, use the support page. Information sent through the website contact form is governed by the separate website privacy policy.
